    Default Reissued M35 Heer

As I am much more active on GHW and less so here, I would like to perhaps start sharing a bit more here. So.................

Found this one last weekend, so I took a couple of quick sunlight pictures yesterday just before sunset.

It is an M35 reissue with a grey lined Heer decal.

Maker and size is unreadable due to the heavy reissue paint.

Overall shape and lot number font lead me to believe it is an ET.

    Lot number is 3483

Liner band is steel "DRP 1940" and size marked 58, so shell size is 66.

The liner is in very fragile condition and torn. I've added some clips in an effort to stabilize it somewhat.

There is evidence of blood staining in the forehead area.

The exterior exhibits that earth , dirt, or mud blotches sometimes seen on helmet. Those familiar with it know what I mean.

Overall it displays well up on a shelf and has a decent decal, as always all comments and opinions are most welcome.

Very pleasing to see - thanks!
Pity about the liner, maybe you could get some plastic clips that are less obvious ( and may not damage the leather further? )
    Cheers, Dan

From prior experience these clips don't exacerbate damage and are somewhat protective of the liner when the helmet is right side up. Dan, if you know of a better option, by all mean, please share it here.
