Relic Helmet w/ possible hidden decal?

Article about: I have a chance to buy this helmet for \\$67 incl shipping, but the only reason i am considerit is because it seems that under the rust there may be a hidden bird in the 1st photo. Any opinion

    I have a chance to buy this helmet for $67 incl shipping, but the only reason i am considerit is because it seems that under the rust there may be a hidden bird in the 1st photo. Any opinions are much appreciated!

    There might be but it is pretty much oxidized and powdered now.

    I agree with Doug, i think any attempt to see what is there will result in more corrosion being stripped away and the helmet becoming more unstable

    As I think the best result will be 10% of paint, that white spots for me looks like dust from something, but not decal, you can see it also near pin.

    No decal, but lots of rust flaking off everywhere............

    Can't see a decal there just some sort of white staining , playing with this one could result in it coming apart the metal is looking very thin !!
