Repainted Luftschutz

Article about: After a long week of work related training, I'm back, with a new helmet! Got it this week in a local, private sale, from a veteran's son. I can't find any maker marks anywhere on this helmet

    I figured as much. It looked like every other carbine hook buckle I have seen, except the metal loop for sliding the long strap through was metal and not leather, as I have seen on most combat helmets. When the seller sent me a pic, I knew I had to get it. And I did, for an unbelievable price (which the seller named, not I!)
