    Default SD Heer M35 Reissue

Pulled this one out earlier this week. I don't think I have ever posted it before. It is a large M35 shell, reissued, depo refurbished I believe, in 1942 with a new coat of smooth dark green combat paint and a 1942 dated steel/zinc banded size 60 liner. I think the new Heer decal is an MB Adler, and I am sure it is a size 68 shell but the reissue paint makes it impossible to make out the maker/size and lot number stamps. I really can't tell which factory made the shell. Anyway, nothing special, just an honest piece in the large size that I prefer. I apologize, the pictures still s***, my new camera make images that are too big to post and I don't know how to make them smaller so I am still using the old camera for posting. Guess I should read the manual someday. Anyway, here is the helmet. Hope you like it. Jim G.

This "Big Boy" saw some action. Appears to be maybe SE by those vent plugs. Can't tell if decal is HJK or MB.
When you upload your images to a computer...you can edit to resize down to about 1000. Then post. This forum (I think) seems to automatically resize to 500 when uploading onto the forum anyway.

Love the helmet. Looking again..think it is an MB decal

Nice one Jim , these type reissues have typically the M&B decal.
    I own a similar example.
