Interesting two seam liner.

Helmet looks ok but on a cell phone so can't confirm or review the decal.

The Paint looks alright to me, and as the paint partly covers the eagel, i would say both is original.
The liner seems to have aluminium tabs, which seems a bit weird on an late War Helmet... could be an Original or postwar replacement? The split pins seem to fit the helmet.

Looks all good , there is no paint over the eagle. It's the factory paint.
I used to own its mintier brother.

The decal is pretty battered but would this be what’s known as the ET Style LW decal Frank?

I would not call this helmet late war.
Liner band is steel.

To the liner
The usage of aluminium was a normal piece of construction of the liners to reuse the bought mountains of aluminium
Ive seen mixed liners made from aluminium up to 1943 dated
Can be a part aluminium liner

I still have never seen a liner like this. I've seen laminated, but not one with two seams that were stitched.

Did these exist? Me not seeing them does not mean they didn't exist

So not saying it is bad but something I would want further clarification on.

Second, and its only my opinion, but the wear to the leather is interesting and the stitching in the exposed areas is nice and bright. That said, the general wear is not far off from the wear of the shell
