SD M40 Heer - good buy or?

Im thinking of buying this M40 single decal heer helmet. It looks like the liner band has burned?

The seller wants 500$

What do you think?

The leather looks burnt but the felt band behind it doesnt. Ask the seller what happened to it.
Me personally I wouldnt give that much for a damaged helmet.

Looks like a Pocher decal. The helmet as a whole is a bit too far gone for $500 IMO
