SE M40 Heer SD
Hi guys,
Here's a salty one that I managed to pick up very cheap.
What I like most about it, is that it seems absolutely untouched. The leather of the liner is far from vivid, it's all hard but hey what can I expect after 70 years of sitting who knows where.
So, anyway, I was wondering, I can spot two different tones of green. One tone is dark green, the other green is lighter and more of a grey-green. Is this a primer/first layer?
According to my reference book the shell was made in Lauter (SE) sometime in 1941. Lot number 354.
