I would like to post some high resolution .png pictures to this forum, but I keep getting a "wrong extension .png" message. I took this pics with my iPhone 5s. Frustrating!

Not sure why or how pictures from an iPhone would cause this issue. I use an iPad for all of my photographs, and have had no such problem. Have you tried downloading the photos onto a computer and uploading them that way? That tends to take care of most issues.

Try converting them to jpegs and see if that helps.

I will try your ideas, thanks.
I bought this on EBay a couple years ago. Very salty M35 with 1940 pins, undisturbed. Can’t read the aluminum liner band date. The liner is still soft. Liner has a number 22 stamped in ink under one of the tabs. No name. Looks like some blood on the chin strap and near the Adler. Early chin strap. Single decal, National Shield removed in 1940.
Looks like a nice honest battle worn re-issued or field refurbished helmet. I love seeing that apple green paint peaking out. Are the split pins flat and unmessed with?
Nice purchase!
