Brabander, thanks for starting this thread . Here's my shelf of helmets. In order from left : Czech , M40 (?)68 found in Kurland battlefield , M40 Q68 beaded luftschutz ND, M40 NS62, M42 ckl64, Spanish modello Z 1942, M40 Q62 Luftwaffe SD (corpse-cut, w/ blood inside), M38 Ungarn(Hungarian), Finnish M55, WWI M17 camo, M1 front seam/swivel bale w/ Vietnam era liner and net cover, russian SSH 39 and not on the shelf but its a modern US Kevlar helmet. Last is an older model maybe from WWII reissued to the IDF during the Arab wars ( not quite sure which one..maybe the first ones). Thanks.
I didn't realized how dark these pics came out! I used a flash and added lights too! Oh well.

No Leon I wish I did I had to turn it in Uncle Sam needed it more than I did Nice wall of helmets Dean. However Dad had a US M-1 fixed bail front seam out in his shed for over 30 years I kind of fixed it up by adding a reworked Capac Liner I brought back and replacing the chin strap the mice ate He brought home a bunch of US all WW2 of course field gear after he got of the Army hospital in early 1946. I may try to post his old helmet. timothy
