Single decal SE64 4776

Hopefully I have read this one correctly, SE64 4776. I must get around to putting up some shelves and displaying these helmets. I have had them for years and most of them I remember exactly when and where I picked them up but can't tell you what I had for breakfast this morning.

Not a wharehouse but somewhere around 300, maybe just under. Collected over the last 40 years.

D, Were they all from the occupation ? or were some also fromt he mainland?

99% were/are from here, but SS and FJ were brought in as they were not here.

Yeah I realise the SS and FJ would not have been, I wouldnt mind a trip to Alderney, it was the most heavily fortified due to its closeness to mainland France, I believe there are some quite significant fortifications still there !! Be really good to see them

I have read about the SS Camp there, and how they used to throw the corpses over the cliff into the sea, not sure how true that is however, they were mainly Soviet POW;s brought over to work with the Todt outfits I believe
