A small collection of helmets

Hi all

I'm wondering if you guys will be able to help me, a friend of mine has picked up this group of helmets and I'm just asking for your opinion on the authenticity and value of them.
This isn't something I personally collect so I really have no idea.
any info would be great

2. Luftwaffe m42 single decal

3. SS M42 single decal

Liam i'm sorry but all the decals look like aged reproductions on original shells. That SS helmet should have cost your friend a couple thousand dollars, and in my opinion your friend probably got screwed, just had to tell you.

Also the liners look replaced and aged using oils.

Hi Liam, I am afraid that the fella's are spot on, I cannot see an original decal amongst this group of helmets. The HEER and SS decals are particularly poor fakes. I would suggest that if they can be removed with ease and not damage the paintwork, then do it! Leon.

Ah Liam, decisions decisions........what DO you tell your friend?
Best to let him down gently - shout him a few pints at the local and THEN tell him the bad news ...... the pill is easier to swallow that way.

The next day he can rant and rave but you will be at a safe distance by then ..........

Actually, nine fingers liners aren't unheard of on size 66 shells...but 3 in a row?
