Article about: There sure are SS and I would agree it looks like a British chinstrap.

    M42 helmet means 1942 this model came out.

    I thought it was an M42 as well. They did have beaded M42's as Chris has shown. Jim G.

    Some type of rubber ring on the helmet for foliage you can see the flat part of it towards the front. Very good picture I haven't seen it before. Thanks timothy

    heres a interesting photo of a WWII German mortar squad wearing some type of band for camo on a M42 helmet

    it almost looks like they used a WWII British MKII helmet chin strap?

    Have those guys got the sniper veil on their helmets?.....
    It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.
