must be a tiny size or that bloke has massive hands
Sorry forgot to mention size it's a ckl64
Is it painted black on the outside? Paint looks a little odd but not the best pictures so don't want to be premature in saying anything bad. Do you know the liner date? Can you get pictures of the bends on the rivets? Better photos would help evaluating this one.
Cheers,
Terry
No terry it's not black but texture field gray like most late war m42 were, I get better pins once in hand
I'm with Terry on this one. Better photos needed. Besides what Terry said, it looks like there might even be brush strokes on the exterior...but really can't be sure as the pictures are not very crisp.
As far as it being "tiny" looking. This is an optical illusion when taking a picture when holding a helmet. I've see this all the time.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Here's another M42 of the same size with the same
type of finish. Sadly, this one had no liner,
only the outer band.........
Regards,
Steve.
I get better pics once I recieve it, I paid $200 for it because I wanted a plain Jane m42 in my neverending collection
Liner and paint look fine. I see no problems. (aside from the missing chinstrap, of course)
