Even with this pic, I think you are right. I think you can forget them.

    Cheers, Ade.

Working on getting more pictures. Especially of the liners. The guy that emailed me I dont know personally. He has some daggars as well and I have posted a picture in the edged weapons section.

I know times are tough and everyone is in need of some dough. Just want to make sure I am getting the real thing!

Ok I have to ask you guys ...I look at these and see older helemts..rust spots, older (or what appears to be) scratched decals, faded paint..and they look authentic to me. I was skeptical about the palm tree but that was an early version that was actually used.

How do you know they are fakes? I totally believe and trust you guys and I am trying to get pics of the liners..which I think helps too..but HOW THE HECK DO YOU KNOW???

What are you looking for? What tips you off?

I am just trying to learn the ropes so I dont have to post stuff as much and ask for advice.

Thanks anyway looks like I will be avoiding these....again..

The DAK Helmet shows very little signs of wear from these photos but hasn't been done as a mint one and the paint job is awful , the palm tree i'd like to see some close ups to look at the eaxacy design.

Actually, the left and right helmet shells are original due of it's not a rare items, but decals is fake, as palmtree and SS decals, ( I think the runes decal is the same fake as the right national flag decal- the shape is wrong)
The FJ helmet is modern Indian repro by shape and rivets.

I would say the paint on the DAK helmet is too bright, and looks like the rust dents under the paint- but too bad quality pictures.
