Transitional Austrian Heer DD M16
Hi Guys, here is the Austrian Heer M16 I mentioned in another thread this morning.
It is fresh out of someone's loft. My friend Jon from our living history group has finally got the guy to dig it out after years of asking and it will now be for sale. It was our LH club AGM at the weekend and he brought it over for me to see. Never been in a collection before.
Pics tell all. Liner band is dated 1940.
Sorry for the pics in done bright sunlight. I was VERY hungover yesterday after going to bed at 5.30am... and just shot these pics.

Very nice lid Ade.
Stunning. I actually like the pictures. Brings out the nice color.
Puts my SD Austrian M16/17 to shame.....
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Ade I think you know what you have to do with this AUSTRIAN helmet
Ade, that is a very nice transitional helmet, well done, it's a keeper for sure! Leon.
