    Default A true treasure

in my opinion a truly holy grail of helmets, at least my best, just picked up today at a country estate sale, a sd m-35 kriegsmarine, personalized by a member of the "551st quartermasters unit" mapped out with all the places he was, from england, france, belgium, and germany, marked et60, lot#13201, note the bullet hole that passed all the way through, just shows you what can still be found out there, i waited all my life to find one like this, picked it up for a steal, $350, any info on the unit would be great.

Very good find, Ive never seen anything like it with the places mapped out like that. Quite an original idea by the person who owned it. Very cool!

    Hi,
really nice find i also like to see the names ect where they went, i think it was a close shot to the helmet going by the entry hole, and i dont think it was worn when hit. Lack of stains inside.

You know those camera's are designed to shoot sharp pictures with them. I hope your family album has better pictures.
Sorry just kidding but blurry pictures don't show the helmets we love as they are. Try activating your macro function and you will get hairsharp pictures like this one.
