Default Turns out, its a M35 KM!

A few days ago, I posted requesting a time sensitive assessment on a Heer M40 that I had an opportunity to buy for 475 CAD. Well I went for it, and it arrived today. As it turns out, it's a reissued M35 KM with apple green paint with grey over-paint. I'm very pleased!Click image for larger version.

I like this very much, do you think the grey over paint would be from coastal artillery use?.

A nice well used helmet, I also like it.
I have its sibling, still puzzled if mine is a Heer or KM.

If I remember correctly, grey over paint signify a shipboard helmet. I think Jim/John can confirm/dispute this.

I'll give you $550 for it! just kidding. good score

Not sure what that last post was all about...but it must not have been in the "Christmas spirit" to have been deleted so fast!

From what I understand, an easy way to tell if it's a KM decal is if you can make out the border around the eagle.
If you can still make it out with a worn or painted over decal that is.

Here is my ET with dark grey/black overpaint.
