Hi All,
Cannot find reference. I have an unmarked M-42. It does have a lot number in the rear (3617) but no other numbers... no decals, no leather but a liner... and no maker marks on the metal liner. (chin strap is post war India)
Post war?

Did you look to see if the maker & and size stampings or near the bale?
Liner band should be marked on the outside of the band
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Looked everywhere. No marks anywhere else. Band has been pried and nothing on either side of it.
I think it is a rear stamped HKP or CKL. The vent hole looks HKP...but can't be sure. With that lot# it should be stamped just over the #'s. Just a weak strike. Liner is probably dated 1943 IMO
D.
ckl would be my educated guess.
That's a ckl helmet 100% for sure. hkp had avery distinct vent which almost looks like an M35 vent. This style vent is found on ckl and ef, but the ef has a different font, so based on the number font and vent shape, ckl 100%.
