Unusual Helmet?

Saved these Civic Police helmet images a while ago, finally got around to posting them. I don't remember seeing this type of fitting before. Any thoughts gents?

I have seen this before Carl, but I can't quite put my finger on it now. It's a fire service lid of a nation reasonably close to Germany, Hungary maybe or Czech.... it escapes me at the moment though.

This is the closest i can find and it's listed as Austrian, different shell i know but the strengthening device is very similar.
