Very Salty M42 Polizei

I posted some sale photos of this last year before I purchased the helmet. I never updated the photos after I got the helmet in hand. I did add the chinstrap but the liner appears original to the helmet. It came from an estate where it had been stored in an open carport for many years. I was amazed the liner was a good as it was. It is an EF62 with lot number 226 which there is another recorded Polizei in the data base a very dedicated collector keeps.

The post war years may have been unkind but its still hanging tough. A pretty nice one.
