But what about this one, is it worth the read? I assume it doesn't contain false information.

I have never owned it and looked through it so long ago, I cannot comment on if it is worth the purchase price or has incorrect items shown. I just know Ken's book is a must have for any helmet collector. Osprey books are small and touch on subjects, they do not get into the detail that a dedicated larger book does.

    Alright, thank you.

I have to agree with Doug. I got hold of the book quite late, a couple of years after I started collecting in earnest, and it is fantastically useful even then. I regularly refer to it for decal comparisons or to check some other arcane detail in the back pages. I think Ken just had a second run made too so it should be easier to get than it used to be.

Also aside from it's usefulness, it's basically 500 glossy pages of helmet porn.

Hi Andy, I have heard that there would not be a second printing. It would be wonderful for new and veteran collectors alike who do not yet have the book if it were to be reprinted, as copies are now only available at exorbitant prices! It really is the best refernce book out there. Jim G.

Jim I'm sure I read somewhere in the last couple of months that a second batch was happening or already available. Someone posted a thread somewhere about it. Which forum it was on, I can't recall, possibly WAF. I will have a sniff around.

I was very lucky and got mine from Ken direct for a reasonable price. In fact Todd knew I was after a copy and bought it without even checking with me, such was the need for haste before someone else snagged it Thanks again for that matey if you catch this thread.

I'm direct. You're welcome. I even gave It to you at cost because I'm such a nice guy LOL. I hope there is a second printing, my copy is starting to show its wear. A digital copy would be great, too. Convenient for shows and such.
