What kind of decal is this?
Included in a recent update on victor-gross.eu was this magazine below. I've gathered that this Die Sirene magazine was a RLB related publication but I must admit I've never seen the likes of the decals on those helmets shown on the cover. The only one I found it resembling to was a type of civic Luftwaffe emblem as shown in a thread on here in the cloth headgear section --- perhaps this is just an early variant of the RLB/Luftschutz emblem?
Any shots of know examples out there? Just found this intriguing..

Looks like a stenciled insignia to me. Jim G.

So, it's simply Luftschutz insignia stenciled on for the lack of the actual decals... Ok, thanks for the info -- just struck me as being unusual/odd looking, that's all.

Kind of looks like a stenciled reichsbahn insignia or something similar looking. The picture is pretty small and lacks real detail, so it's hard to say for sure.
Perhaps a translation of the caption would help.

Hi , the small print under the DIE SIREN text clearly states this is a Luftschutz publication. Leon.
