I managed, somehow, to convert the photos into JPEG, so now I will start a new thread. I hope this is OK, since the other one was kind of confused, anyway. So please tell me how much the ruined ones are worth IN THE USA, and how much the good ones (if any) are worth. There is also a Tropenhelm.

    $0.00

Please provide halfway decent photos including the interior of each one. The red and blue ones would be garage sale or flea market items.

Sorry if I offended you Europeans with my desire to find out what these helmets are worth IN THE USA! I don't really care that they are worthless in Europe, because I don't plan on selling them there. Maybe they are virtually worthless in the USA, too, but I would appreciate it greatly if USA collectors would give me their opinions. I don't own them yet.

Mate it doesn't matter where you live they are still almost worthless , i'm sure American collectors are just as if not more discerning as everyone else.

Wherever you are from isn't going to make the majority of these any better

I would honestly save your money and not even consider buying the stripped ones in primer paint.

To be honest, nothing looks that promising from the pics, bar perhaps the tropenhelm. But the only way to tell is to post pics of each one, inside and out.

    Cheers, Ade.

Pay no mind to them they mean no harm we like to have a good time here on the forum, but as Doug said more detailed pictures are a must. There are so many helmets as well so they would have to be broken up into groups of era, country, originality and how complete the helmet is.

its hard to tell but the majority look like there missing liners as the rivits are clearly missing i can see a couple of italian m33 's athough they could be post war or even bulgarian clones ive purchased a few helmets from the good old US of A via a certain internet auction site , so they might end up in some lucky europeans hands i think your best off looking for complete original unplayed with items ,quality not quantity is my advice the last helmet photo reminds me of a lobster pot
