    I think the Norwegian liners are darker coloured.

    It doesn't look dark enough to me and didn't the Norgie liners use brass rivets to hold the leather to the liner band?...

    Hi , it just looks like a liner that has been heavily used by a greasy head! Leon.

    Looks to me like the leather was transplanted onto another liner band. I don't like the whitewash, in fact most of this lid does not sit quite right with me. Better pics of the decal would confirm. It's a Q shell by the look of it, with all that entails for the expected decal.

    What's the opinions on the blow torched finish carefully circumventing the decal and the weird, regular scratching that appears to be trying to look like crazed paint? Is this a rather amateur attempt at ageing the helmet or am I getting the wrong end of the stick, and it's irrelevant....?
