Winter Camo...Opinions about asking price please.

a renowned militaria dealer offered this helmet to me.
It is a guarantee 100 % original helmet with story of bringback from US vet.
What do you think about the asking price of 1500 EUR ?

Hi, well if it is guaranteed good with provenance, I think that is a fair price for the helmet. I will add that it looks good to me, what theatre was this one from? Norway maybe? You just do not get many good winter cammos from the east, they are nearly all relics!! Leon.
I agree with Leon, rate nice lid!
1500E is more than 2k Australian and for a relic with what looks like a crispy liner & chinstrap that is a bit too much in my opinion. ...... but thats just me.

It is from USA but german known seller.. I was thinking about the price... but if you say thats a fair price i take it to my collection

Liner and chinstrip are not crispy.. i had it in hands a week ago on trade fair...
1500EUR i would also say too much
Agree, 1500 EUR is a little expensive on the fact that the liner and the inside is in rather bad shape vs what you could expect when you put down 1500€
You can get a better lid for 1500 drinking vouchers!.....
I wouldn't be describing that liner as 'supple' either. Looks ratty as hell. On that note, why is the CS in so much better condition? Within reason, one should more or less match the other. Furthermore, being painted under the brim is usually a bad sign is it not?by Felix7777
If the seller won't accept 1000 then i'd walk away, 'guarantee' or not.
