Would love to know more about this helmet

I got this lid for 30 bucks a few years ago, I know its not anything special but it was my first and the closest I could get to a german helmet at the time, I would love to know what it is and when it was made.

As to the age i would have to say WW2ish. Some sort of spanish emblem was attached to that little bracket.

It is called Modello Z.
Also known as the M42, this is a Spanish-made helmet cloned from the German M42, and first issued in 1943.

Not made in Germany, not used in the Spanish Civil War, not a German M42.
