WW.2 German picklehaube.

Article about: Its not a lamp project for sure, it was covered in oil/grease etc when I got it and it came from a garage where it had been used for the previous 40 years. I have seen them turned into lamps

    Default WW.2 German picklehaube.

Okay so its not a picklehaube. I got this some time ago and thought it was different enough to be worth picking up. At the wars end there were thousands of helmets all over Europe and when needs must people find ways of utilizing whats to hand. In this case a good old steel helmet has been turned into a funnel. Hope it makes you smile!!!

I saw a FJ helmet adapted for this, but yours is more pleasing on the eye. I quite like it

The coolest funnel in the world IMO
Some of the garbage for sale on e-barn could have value added with this useful modification

With my imagination lol all I can see is a soldier wearing this on a windy day and trying to figure out where that whistling is coming from.
