If it helps I'll call and ask my father. He may not know since many things were not affordable to him or
his friends. They could not for instance afford any Hj items like a knife for him.
    But ya never know.

Chris, i think until we have something to compare yours to, these questions will be hard to answer, ive never seen one before although i have heard about them, as for value, again no comparisons, unless someone has a couple in collections. Ade says hes got one similar thats unmarked, then theres the rarity element, would they be classed as a collectible item or a curiosity, i havent got a clue with this , there must be some researchable evidence somewhere, but so far due to the lack of interest of this post from the main helmet collectors this would suggest that they dont know or there is very little to comment on ,which doesnt exactly help you in your queries, lets see if another day produces results

My Kinderhelm is actually un marked. So don't worry too much about markings. I suspect the markings on the packaging would have been enough to sell it.

    Cheers, Ade.
this one is not mark has well.

Hi Chris, I paid £100 for mine, at least ten / eleven years ago now, but it is a Heer double decal example and that was cheap at the time.

Hard to price a no decal example. My best guestimate would be $200?

I would suggest one note of caution regarding the paint finish. I have never seen one painted like this before.

    Cheers, Ade.

One more, like mine which had the decals removed and made 89 Euros

Stahlhelm Kinderhelm feldgrau 2. WK MIT INNENFUTTER RAR bei eBay.de: 1918-1945 (endet 20.04.11 20:00:47 MESZ)

Hopefully all this will give you a better idea about these items.

    Cheers, Ade.

I do not have the ww1 looking one.
the one I posted does look very different from any other one I have seem. But I would say it is missing the decals.
