    Most likely a m55 if you cant find any markings

    Are you possibly able to take a picture of the other side of the helmet? In many m55 cases, there should be a very small hole punched about a few inches behind the liner securing pin.

    Nonetheless, I am also leaning towards it being a Finnish contract m55. The air vents on these helmets are usually a little more pronounced than the original m40s. However, I am not the best at identifying German helmets.

    Early contract helmets have no markings. This one posted here drove me crazy. Not a single marking on the shell. Your example could be one of these. NH

    Thanks for answers. Neil, the vent looks quite different to mine. I think mine might really be the M55.
    OsiusGaming, mine doesnt have the extra rivet holes.
