Hi Gast.... Stunning is all I can say to see a whole and complete Sword including all shipping accoutrements. How is this possible..and where did you acquire this time capsule conditioned example? What pattern type is the sword also ? Regards Larry

That is one fine looking piece with all the trimmings , must be a little history behind the story .....

Larry: I am pleased you appreciate this piece of history. It is an Eickhorn model #1765 "Prinz Eugen" of that firm's famous Field Marshall series of sabres. Part of my collection for many years it was sourced from the basement store of a Hofflieferant (military outfitters), back in the day when things like this could still be found in post-war West Germany. The blade has the last Eickhorn TM, the squirrel looking over it's shoulder - at the approaching Red Army.by Larry C

Wow, I have a mint Wrangel model with the original hilt cover but yours is about as complete as it could possibly get, thank you for sharing!!
