Looks fine, with plenty of evidence of hand finishing.

    It looks very good.
If is maker marked, it should be EPack

Thank you all for the replies. I had it checked out by a sword collector. It's a ww1 sword, but has been rehilted by the officer who had or a mix match. The blade has a maker mark by FW holler and hilt by E Pack as you said.

As others have said, a lack of or crude detailing is not uncommon with these swords. Many were detailed by hand rather than machine-worked.

The hilt on my Puma example shows similar rough-looking details.

It looks like a good early sword (the hilt) to me also. WWI Infantry officers usually had a straight blade with curved for some others - and very often etching. Best Regards, Fred

    Hello,
Thank you for the help again. Much appreciated. Could this sword be a mix match then with different maker hilt compared to the blade? Sorry for the late reply aswell.

    Regards

    Luke
