Germen Russian cossack saber

Hi, my friend and i looked at german stuff on the internet last night and he found this sword... It isn't a real one is it ? i mean it must be a fake?.
My friend means it's a genuine sword, but i dont believe him, the details on the eagle are so bad, and why the he** wouldt there be such marks on a russian saber ?

I dont have any experience in german swords and WERY little in daggers,
Anyone that couldt help ?

A postwar fake that as I recall was made in India. These sabers seem to have been made without scabbards (selling very cheaply it was probably not cost effective to make them). FP

PS: Cossacks in the service of the Wehrmacht did carry Soviet era manufactured cavalry sabers (the Shashqua). And in pictures I have seen it was without the Russian (Mosin Nagant) bayonet. Also noting the inclusion of a hole in the pommel for a wrist strap, which was a useful feature for both the Imperial and Soviet era Cossack sabers. FP
