    Amazing detailing in the ornamentation of the hilt and grip! And the dedication is just stunning! That is one Fine sword and definitely no junior grade piece! A Great find!

    i want to add another thing, explain the dedication a bit futher:
    landwehr bezirks Siegen= country defence of the "Siegen" district

    A beautiful sword! I wish more imperial edged weapons were shown. The quality of these pieces is incredible. This sword is one fine example of the craftsmanship of the period. Thanks for showing Ivan
