Hi Stingray, Another work of art!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A beatiful sabre in what appears to be pristine condition and one that I would love to own. Although the hilt is of a fairly standard design pattern, the blade is certainly not. It is, in my experience and opinion a rarety to see a pipe or quill back blade mounted with a Third Reichs (TR) style hilt. Additionally, to see a pipe back blade with a dated TR dedicated etching is also rare. Ergo, your sword scores a double hit having both. You have an eye for quality and I wish you well!!!!!!!

Happy hunting and best wishes Michael Ryan.
