    It's original Chris, but the blade looks like it's been used to chop rocks in some places. If it were cheap enough it's worth a punt, but there's plenty better than this one around for reasonable money I think.

    Hey mate, thanks for your fast reply. Good eye, i must say i hadn't noticed that on the blade. Pictures are small also and not closed up enough.
    Actually it's offered for 550 euros including an officer's porteppee so IMO not cheap

    Hi Ade, thanks for your input. Swords from USA are found much cheaper but taxes and shipping make the price almost the same

    Originally i checked the "EICKHORN KUNDENDIENST" and thought it might be Model #1710 in the field marshall series,but its not.Any other members have the ID of the sword? Hilt eagle doesn't fit any of the FM series
