Question Regarding Dove Head Sword and other items

I am a new member and please excuse me if I have not posted these questions in the correct forum.

I own four items and am trying to gather more information on these items.

One item is what I have seen referred to as a "Dove Head" sword with black scabbard.

A second item is a German flag measuring 25.375" x 37.50" with a sewn on white circle and back insignia on the circle. I did not locate a specific sub-forum for flags and am including the reference here - (new to the forum - don't quite know my way around yet). The flag does not have grommets, nor does it have a sewn "tube" for pole mounting.

The third item is a P38 with holster - never fired.

The fourth item is what I believe to be a US field rocket (mortar) launcher of some sort. It includes a heavy cloth cover and adjustment devices.

My interest is learning more about these items and ultimately determining their value in order to make a decision on whether or not to keep them. I understand photos would indeed be helpful and once sent to the proper forums, I will add photos.

I do not have with me, but own and have access to what I think is an interesting German Army book. It has a tan/khaki cloth cover and is embossed with the title in German. The pages are actually thick "holders" for stacks of photographs of German infantry field operations. Inset into a compartment in the thick cover is a metal framed magnifying viewer. There are no text pages in the book, it is a holder/carrier for the photos and viewer. I have it being stored with a family member and am interested in obtaining information on this item as well.

Any advice regarding where/how to place these for discussion, as well as any advice regarding decorum is appreciated and I apologize in advance for any breach of forum guidelines.

The photos below I shot indoors in less than ideal light. I will shoot better photos in natural sunlight and add.

Hi Frank..those less than ideal light photos happen to be just right...in lighting..as you dont want to have direct sunlight on this example. Some detail will be lost due to the brightness shining back into the camera lense. An Overcast day is perfect for these type of photos or indirect lighting indoors. These photos you have here are IMO perfect in lighting. regards Larry

Hi frank 4AD,
the sword looks very similar to the Carl Julius Krebs model Nbr 3 sword and a very nice example indeed, if you look near the crossguard behind the langet there may be a maker mark?
if so could you tell us and we should be able to get the right information for you

Hi Ronnie at a quick glance I thought it was an Eickhorn Wrangel, but its defo under closer examination a Krebs No.3. Looks like a nice sword.
