the person I do some work for mainly fixing ex us military vehichles showed me some swords 2 Japanese 1 of which was taken just as the officer was about to commit hari kiri it still has a long strip of cotton on it with with I was told a prayer it has a signed tang and wavy patterns down the blade. the question is about the 3rd sword which is german he said he's uncle took it from the display cabinet in a building on a hill at belsen it had the ss dagger and the complete belt with cross strap, but it is not a degen more like the standard one with 1 red eye and 1 green. I know all this can be authenticated but curious to know if the ss used these.
