    Sword 84 (28) Manufactured by the well known firm Alexander Coppel Solingen (AC, ACS, ALCOSO and Alex Coppel), the Trade Mark on the blade of this sword comprises a set of scales and the initials "ACS".

    a. Hilt. Cast in steel and nickel plated. The backstrap is attached directly to the tang. The grip is of wood with a plastic cover and a brass wire wrap.
    b. Obverse Langet. Plain.
    c. Reverse langet. Plain.
    d. Pommel. Plain dove head.
    e. Blade. Plain plated steel with single fullers.
    f. Scabbard. Standard nickel black steel scabbard with a single fixed ring suspension fitting and loop to the reverse side of the scabbard.
    g. Rarety. Common.

    Sword 85 (20) Manufactured by the well known firm Alexander Coppel Solingen (AC, ACS, ALCOSO and Alex Coppel), the Trade Mark on the blade of this sword comprises a miniature set of scales with the initials "ACS" along side the wording in two lines "ALCOSO (in script) Solingen". This sword is identical to sword 82 apart from the metals used in the building of the hilt.

    a. Hilt. This is a composite hilt. Cast alloy attached directly to the blade tang. The hilt is composite as it has a brass ferrule rather than alloy to match the other fittings. The grip is of wood with a plastic covering and a brass wire wrap.
    b. Obverse Langet. Political style Eagle flanked by a laurel leaf on either side.
    c. Reverse langet. Plain outlined shield with a plain vertical oval escutcheon within a foliage border.
    d. Pommel. Lion with red glass eyes.
    e. Blade. Plain polished steel with single fullers.
    f. Scabbard. Standard black steel with single fixed ring suspension fitting and a suspension loop to the reverse side of the scabbard.
    g. Rarety. Quite scarce.

    Sword 91 (82) Manufactured by Gebruder Weyersberg Solingen, the Trade Mark on the blade of this sword comprises the abbreviated title "Gebr Weyersberg" in an arch over "Solingen".

    a. Hilt. Ribbed grip slabs x 2 of a composite materiel riveted (x 3) directly through the blade tang. Recurved cross guard in cast steel.
    b. Obverse Langet. None.
    c. Reverse langet. None.
    d. Pommel. Brass hemet shaped pommel with ribbed lower portion and brass tang button.
    e. Blade. Plain steel with a single fuller. The blade is falcheon in shap and has a flat reverse side.
    f. Scabbard. Black heavy duty leather wit a brass chap and locket both secured using brass staples. There is a brass frog stud on the locket obverse.
    g. Rarety. Rare.

    Sword 92 (58) Manufactured by Weyersberg & Stamm Solingen, the Trade Mark on the blade of this sword comprises the "Weyersberg" in an arch over " & Stamm" over "Solingen". Additionally, the blade also bears the stamping "Tilier & G" over Wien over another word??

    a. Hilt. Cast brass and back strap attached directly to the blade tang using an oval tank nut. The grip is of wood with a shagreen covering and a brass wire wrap. This sabre has a very ornate basket type knuckle guard in brass featuring the Imperial two headed Eagle of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
    b. Obverse Langet. None.
    c. Reverse langet. None.
    d. Pommel. Foliage patterned dove head with patterned oval tang nut.
    e. Blade. Etched plated steel with single fullers. The etching includes the Imperial Eagle on the obverse and the Royal Cypher of Emperor Franz Joseph on the reverse.
    f. Scabbard. Black leather with single ring suspension fitting and a suspension loop to the reverse side of the scabbard. Obverse locket bears the Royal Cypher whilst the centre suspension band and the chape are very ornate.
    g. Rarety. Rare.
