WW2 Army Officer Sword marked Fahnen-Reuter Munster any info welcome
Picked up this sword at auction, its marked Fahnen-Reuter Munster, is this a retailer? Cant find any info on it. Not in the hand yet so unsure if any maker mark hidden under langet. Condition not perfect, gripwire looks missing, but not over expensive.

"Founded in 1932 as "Flags Reuter" by Mäkki Reuter, the long-established company was 1988 acquired by us"
The firm appears to be extant still in Munster. They are engravers by trade but these days have moved into other kinds of retailing. I have seen an Eickhorn engraved dress bayonet before that is similarly engraved like your sword with their name on the reverse side of the blade.

It seems to be a Horster sword
Got this sword yesterday its marked Horster on one side and the retailer Fahnen-Reuter Munster on the other will add some photos shortly.

Got some photos of retailer and marker marks now, not a mint sword but nice to have a retailer mark. Plus I replaced grip wire, normally leave as is but couldn't help myself.
