It may sound selfish but "likes" give me a feeling that what I post is valued and appreciated. And as someone said in another thread, likes are a good way of showing appreciation for something when one may not be qualified or educated enough to comment on an item. I hope the likes can be restored.

I had not heard that saying in a long,long, time and wondered how you knew that particular saying ? Ike Isenhower was born about 50 miles from where I live , I pass by his old house everytime I go to Choctaw Casino in Durant Oklahoma and actually have an "I Lke Ike" " Texas campaign button when he ran for and won the United States presidency...the last U.S. president who was an actual combat soldier.(we've gone down the toilet since) next time I have my camera out I'll post a photo of the button.
