Default Pics from Camera uploading sideways

Just recently, pics taken on my camera and downloaded to my pc have been uploading sideways.

This is a real camera, not a mobile phone camera.

Can someone please help me with this problem?

    Cheers

I believe it is the cameras auto rotation that causes this! best way to fix is by editing it up in paint or paint 3d (right click on picture) (window OS) and then save. hope this helps?

René is absolutely correct and has given me this tip in the past. Thanks again mate.

Just a quick add, I find that opening the 'edit with paint 3d' option and saving (not actually editing anything) does the trick.

Thanks Chris, I did a very slight edit each time in 3D Paint and then saved.

I will try your suggestion next time - many thanks!

I've found if your using a I-phone, if you crop the photos on your computer before posting they remain upright.

Recently discovered a permanent fix for the rotation issue - for me anyway! I've changed the camera's photo aspect ratio from wide to standard.
Now I have no issue at all and no need to edit the pictures!

Interesting. Maybe that is why I've never had a problem with my phone. It's always standard aspect.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
