Really annoying......

Does anyone else have this happen?

When typing a post on the forum, do you find the text you've just typed scrolls back to the top automatically after a short while?

It can be a bit of a pain when you're trying to read back what you've written, maybe add something within the text and then continue typing as it keeps shifting back to the start!

I have to use the bar down the side of the box I'm typing in to get to the bottom and then quickly jump in with the mouse to stick the cursor back to where I want to continue before it disappears up to the bloody top again.

Any ideas how to overcome this issue?

I've never had that Ade, it sounds more like a keyboard driver issue or something like that at your end. Then again, I take it you don't have this happen outside of the forum? Odd...

Surely the browser's issue, probably some wrong settings. Try reinstall it

Sorry Dimas, you're going to need to explain that one to me very slowly and in simple terms. Computers aren't my specialist subject.

Are you saying when you type a word it returns back to the start? Highlighting and deleting itself? If that's the case just turn your insert and num key off. Firstly the website isn't client side it is server side meaning if there is a text problem it's not the website so there is a chance it could be your browser. Sometimes on a run routine for ASCII can be awkward and the return key can be recognised as the start/end key. Clearing the cache will do nothing either sadly since it doesn't remember to return keys or the cursor

No, it's not the insert key, that's always off.

When I type out a few paragraphs, the start of the text obviously disappears out the top as I type more words to the bottom. If I stop typing, after a few seconds the page automatically scrolls back down so the start of my ramblings come into view again. I have to scroll down to where I left off and get the cursor back at the end quickly before it scrolls back up again.
