Well, Dimas checked my account and determined that it is working, but I still had the problem , which is that I sign on and whenever I leave the main menu I have to sign on again. And when I try to post something I am denied access because I'm not signed on. It goes on and on--Catch 22. But I did find a solution entirely by happenstance. The problem apparently stems from the fact that I am using AOL on this laptop. When I go online with my desk top the problem vanishes. So, I tried going online with my google account on my laptop and it too works fine. So the problem has something to do with AOL and this laptop. A friend once told me that this whole computer thing is applied magic and has no logic to it. I guess he's right, but for the moment I'm up and running. Dwight
