Turn off the likes recieved notification?

Tony, I've "liked" your post out of thanks for you not liking mine and sparing me the pain of being liked too much.

Guys, I'm up to 14 likes so far today. In the spirit of the London Olympics, it would be nice to break the record for most likes in one day which is 4,678.
I know we can do it, don't let me down!

I think the likes system is really the easiest way of showing that you agree with or appreciate someones post, or just when you are in a hurry and you see someone post an item that you like. And its just great to see that black box around the notifications button.
