Default Upload collection thread- help- where to place?

    Hello~!

I was thinking it would be nice to upload a thread of a collection brought back by a private in the US Army. I think several forum-goers would appreciate it, as the collection has remained in tact, and contains only items he collected and brought back for himself. (Many of which are intriguing!)

My question is where (if you think it would be nice to see) the thread containing the collection should be posted.

The items are mainly Third Reich oriented, with a few Italian pieces.

    Many thanks,

    James

What the big guy said and welcome to the forum!...
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

Welcome to the forum James. As Glenn said earlier, the "Collections display" forum would indeed be the correct location. See link below.

    Hi James and welcome.

As the guys above have said, the Collections sub forum would be ideal.

That said, you mention that it's a collection brought back by a soldier. What does the collection consist of? U.S. material, German?
If so, it might also be worth posting individual items in separately in their respective forums.

Not all members who would be interested may see visit the collections area so if you have original items with provenance it would be good to see them in the correct areas for reference.
