    I have found that it won't allow anything over about 1.5mb, which is less than it used to allow, but that is bigger than most other forums, so it just means this forum is slightly less easy to use than it used to be, but is easier than most others, so no problem, now I know what can and cannot be posted.

    Normally I'am allways making pictures in size approx 250 kb, but if you will load pictures which is less than 1,5 MB they will be uploaded, but surely it takes a time and server load too.
    I'am using this resizer which can resize pictures at one time in bunch, and it located in the right mouse contest menu
    Take a look here: Photo Gadget Pro – Resize, Rotate, Crop, Rename, Stamp, Frame, Convert Images – XemiComputers
    It's very easy to use

    Yes, the prob is that resizing photos is time consuming. Especially if you watermark them too.
    But on the other hand it makes sence to reduce the limit as huge photos take much space on the server.

    I am using windows paint and i have to do it one by one.
    But if the one you recommend can do all of them together it would be great.
    I'll give it a try.

    Let me recommend a free and easy to use one RIOT - Radical Image Optimization Tool

    It can resize (in fact it will insist to resize (800px is more than enough for a web image)) your image and optimise. Recently it start to work with a group of images.

    Now for Dimas, just an idea, for 4.2 check the config.php those lines. I assume the trouble is there. 5Mb pics are bigger than 2592px

    PHP Code:
    // Image Processing Options
        // Images that exceed either dimension below will not be resized by vBulletin. If you need to resize larger images, alter these settings.
    $config['Misc']['maxwidth'] = 2592;
    $config['Misc']['maxheight'] = 2592
