Question Books on the history of the armed forces of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania

Can anyone recommend books in English on the history of the armed forces of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania during their wars of independence to their occupation first by the Soviets and then by the Nazis in WW2. Thanks.

    Hi Dastier
I think this one was in English also. Lots of pictures of Estonian Army, Estonians in the RKKA and in the German Army.

    And Estonians in the Waffen-SS

Cannot think any other in English right now.

    Regards
    K.

There is a large book over 1300 pages Estonia 1940-1945 published in English , it was published in Tallinn in 2006 by the Estonian International Commission for the Investigation of Crimes against humanity which includes a lot of Information about all the different Estonian units during WW2. ISBN 9949-13-040-9

Or as Kass has said the book on the Estonian Legion is in English and well worth the money !!

    cheers

I think Osprey do a basic volume on the Baltic states participation in WW2.
German Eastern Front Allies. Men at Arms number 363
    Publishers Discription,
The Baltic nations - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - enjoyed a brief independence between the World Wars before being annexed by the USSR in 1940. The grim experience of Soviet occupation made it inevitable that after the German invasion of Russia in 1941 they would fight beside the Wehrmacht as allies again.
