Description: Here is a 1939 Herder "6683g" bayonet that has seen better days, but still retains a lot of character. There is a lot of pitting and dings on the blade and handle, however the pitting isn't deep and the bayonet is still solid. The blade was sharpened at one point, but it wasn't recent. The locking mechanism still works perfectly. The bakelite grips are tight and have no cracks or the like. There is no sheath or frog. More pisctures upon request.
