Description: “Eickhorn solingen” Model 1693 Field Marshal Series Dove Head Sword in excellent condition. End of blade has some minor chrome wear. I also have a short video as well of the blade which to the naked eye has absolutely no scratches except the minimal wear at the tip. Scabbard has some scratches but very minimal. Good discussion and more pics on this forum at http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/daggers-swords-3-reich/german-dress-sword-opinions-310919/

Underside of quillon is stamped with, "Ges.Gesch" Ges Gesch is an abbreviation for gesetzlich geschützt. Gesetzlich translates from German to English as legal, legitimate, by law. Geschützt translates from German to English as protected or sheltered. Ergo the translation means: legally protected.

I have not tried to clean, paint, buff, or shine the sword. You will receive exactly what is shown in pictures
Call or email for questions. I can email the video as well
