Description: K98 bayonet and frog. Maker is FNJ, year 42, matching serial numbers. The blade does not appear to have been either reblued or sharpened. The scabbard does appear to have been cleaned and blued. The wooden grip panel is cracked on the left side. It does appear to have been used as a hammer or something at some point during its life. If there was ever a mark on the frog it is gone. One of the rivets is missing the keeper portion, but it is in otherwise good condition.
